Our first membership meeting will be on 10/15/2025 at the Gilberts Eagles Club, 325 Raymond Street Gilberts, IL 60136. The refreshments area opens at 4pm, and the meeting starts PROMPTLY at 4:30pm. I hope to see everyone there.

Hello ESSO Members,

We will be holding a meeting of the membership on April 24th. This is to announce the nominees for the offices of Vice President, Secretary and Steward.

On April 2nd, we finally came to a tentative agreement with the Board of Ed’s negotiating team. We have one more meeting on April 14th with them to wrap up any remaining language. As long as there are no issues at that meeting, we will be able to present the tentative agreement to you all on the 24th. If we are able to do this, we will also have the vote to ratify the new agreement. Time permitting, we will get the TA out to all of you prior to the 24th for your review.

The meeting will be at the Gilberts Eagles Club, 325 Raymond Street Gilberts, Illinois 60136. The refreshments area opens at 4pm, and the meeting starts PROMPTLY at 4:30.

Hello ESSO Members,

Just a quick message that we will be having a General Membership Meeting at the Eagles Club on Thursday, April 25th. Besides our regular business, the main reason for the meeting is to announce the nominees for the 3 officer positions that are up for election this year. 

Again those positions are President, Treasurer, and Chief Steward and any nominations should be sent to ericpeterson@u-46.org prior to next week’s meeting, or in person at the meeting. REMEMBER, nominees must be present to accept their nomination, or if they can’t attend, a note of acceptance in writing will suffice. The location for the meeting is:

Hello ESSO’s

We will be having a membership meeting next Wednesday, 12/13. We will be at the Eagles Club again, 325 Raymond Dr. Gilberts. The refreshments area opens at 4pm, meeting starts PROMPTLY at 4:30. Dinner will be served.

Good morning ESSO’s. We will be having the first meeting of the full membership of the 23-24 school year next week. We will also be trying out a new venue this year.

We will be meeting at the Eagles Club, 325 Raymond Street, Gilberts, next Thursday, October 5th. The refreshments area opens at 4pm, and the meeting starts PROMPTLY at 4:30. Dinner will be served. As usual, we will be discussing recent events that affect ESSO, and we will discuss plans for the upcoming contract negotiations.

We have a date of May 24th,2023 for our next union membership meeting. More information to come. If the date changes we will be let everyone know.

Hello ESSO’s. Hope you’re all doing well.

Next Thursday, April 27th,2023 ,we will be meeting at the Moose lodge. This will mark the end of the nomination period for the ESSO officers that are up for election. More information can be found on our ESSO website at https://essou46.wordpress.com. We will announce who the nominees are as well as plans for the summer Family Picnic.
